Marie is a registered dietitian and certified specialist in Oncology Nutrition with over 20 years of experience as a clinical dietitian. She has worked for Lynn Cancer Institute since 2009. Ms. Morande provides numerous nutrition lectures each month at the Institute, along with counseling services to Institute cancer patients. Her lectures emphasize survivorship and wellness as part of the Thomas E. Oxley Center for Cancer Survivorship and Wellness program. She also has contributed many articles to Coping with Cancer magazine most recently “Take Charge of your Gut Health” in the May/June 2020 issue. Ms. Morande graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and completed her dietitian internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
