Preventive Cardiology
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. 1 in 3 women die of heart disease every year. The Preventive Cardiology Program is designed to help women identify their personal risk for heart disease, heart failure, and stroke. Although your basic lab work may be in the normal range, a more detailed evaluation can help to determine if you have an unidentified, increased risk for heart disease. While we are located within the Lynn Women’s Institute, we are excited to serve both women and men.
What is Preventive Cardiology?
Preventive cardiology is a subspecialty focused on lowering your risk for developing heart disease. We are committed to helping you prevent your first heart attack or stroke, or lower your risk for another heart event. Even if you have heart disease, it is never too late to see a Preventive Cardiologist.
